Description
This is a B-25J Mitchell. This was the type of bomber made famous by the movie Pearl Harbor and the Doolittle raids of WWII over Japan just 4 month after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. The North American B-25 Mitchell is a medium bomber that was introduced in 1941 and named in honor of Major General William "Billy" Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation. Used by many Allied air forces, the B-25 served in every theater of World War II, and after the war ended, many remained in service, operating across four decades.

Great shot, Shoal! Is that a deadstick (no power) landing?
Shoal Hollingsworth replied:
Thank you Neal. No, I should have used a slower shutter speed to catch the movement of the props
