Description
This is the Blue Angeles C-130 Hercules also know as Fat Albert. The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is an American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built originally by Lockheed. Capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft. The Blue Angels flight demonstration squadron was formed in 1946 by the United States Navy.The Blue Angels' McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornets (numbered 1–6) are currently flown by five Navy demonstration pilots and one Marine Corps demonstration pilot. Fat Albert is their support aircraft and does participate in their shows.
